I am 16 and desperate for a chance to get into the music industry?

Last weekend I ended up crying to my mum about how much singing means to me, and that I would only dream of being on xfactor or britains got talent, and I know that the show needs stupid,failing dog acts just for entertainment. But what happened to the real deal? I put videos on youtube, sing in my room, won competions, but I think to myself why has God given me a voice if I can't do anything with it yet, I would love to have a band but I don't know how to make one, Im learning guitar but Im not very good. I know I am young, but so was Cher Lloyd when she got her break.
